The number of the nation’s chief executive officers reached a six-year high in 2014. The corner office continues to be dominated by men, however, the turnover among the nation’s chief executive officers reached a six-year high in 2014 as 1,341 leaders vacated their posts during the year. Overall, there were 198 women who left their positions in comparison to the remaining 1,143 were male.
