U.S. President Barack Obama will visit Saudi Arabia to meet its new King Salman. Obama will visit India with Vice President Joe Biden.
Salman takes charge in Saudi Arabia a time of uncertainty in the kingdom, surrounded by a region full of tumult and Islamist militants. The kingdom’s role in orchestrating Arab support with Western countries as the biggest oil exporter is important during this time of market instability. He has pledged on Friday to maintain the kingdom’s policies and has kept most of his predecessors cabinet, including the oil, finance and foreign affairs ministers.
